Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) device from ambient temperature to 1000°C

Thermal Gravimetric Analysis Device Thermo-gravimetric Analysis, abbreviated as TGA, is one of the modern methods for measuring the properties of chemical materials, especially polymeric substances.
The Polymer Laboratory of Razi Metallurgical Research Center has recently installed a TGA device, model TG 209F3 NETZSCH from Germany, which is one of the best brands of this device, and is now ready to provide services to the country’s industries.
The applications of this modern device include:
• Determining temperature changes and weight changes resulting from degradation reactions under controlled conditions
• Determining the amount of water present in the sample
• More accurate identification of polymeric materials
• Measuring glass fibers and mineral fillers
• Determining the amount of carbon black
• Measuring the decomposition temperature
• Determining the amount of plasticizers
